Adoptive Parent Training
What do you need to adopt in Georgia? FaithBridge helps teens, sibling groups, and special needs children find loving, Christian, adoptive families. If you are interested in adopting these wonderful children, the first step is to start training. At FaithBridge, we provide all the training needed to become adoptive parents (as well as licensed foster or respite parents) with added spiritual guidance.
We currently serve adoptive families in the following Georgia counties: Bartow, Carroll, Cherokee, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Forsyth, Floyd, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Jackson, Paulding.
Where to start?
1. Encounter
If you’re new to adopting through foster care, sign up for an Encounter.
Our two-hour information session will introduce you to the need for adoptive homes (and the ways to be involved with Christian foster care). You will learn about the process while considering the call God is putting on your life to care for children in their greatest time of need. This is where everyone starts the journey of becoming adoptive, foster, or respite parents. Sign up for an event near you today!
2. Foundations
Already attended an Encounter? Sign up for Foundations.
This multi-day training is for adoptive, foster, and respite families and meets the state-mandated requirement for approval and licensing. You will receive in-depth adoption training and spiritual lessons that will help prepare you for this journey. If you are going through the process to become a FaithBridge adoptive family, this training is for you AFTER you have attended an Encounter.
3. Advanced Training for CEs
All FaithBridge adoptive parents have exclusive access to FaithBridgeU, our online learning center where you can find both live and on-demand training webinars as well as information about in-person training.
